Our winery is located in the ancient wine town Hustopeče in the Velké Pavlovice wine subregion. We are undertaking with the production of white, red, and above all with the production of fortified wines (simply say the Porto wine ). In respect to family tradition, this wine is called „Stefan Kossulitcz” according to one of our oldest ancestor
We have both variations – red and white. The main part of grapes, from which our wines are produced, comes from our own vineyards „Starovická hora” (Souvratě), „Růženy” and „Šilinky” in our city Hustopeče and the smaller part from the family vineyards in the wine villages Morkůvky and Brumovice in the region Klobouky u Brna.
Our wine is stored mainly in wooden barrels in our wine cellar. We are focused on the combination of grape variety and wine area Each batch of grapes is processed separately. Therefore, we have each zdar several wines of Riesling, or Veltliner. Varietal structure is gradually aimed to typical grapetypes of Hustopeče region as Tramin, Sylvaner, André, and Frankovka etc. In the Klobouky wine area we are focuses primarily on the wine varieties Italian Riesling and Neuburger, which are reaching an exceptional quality there.
Our wine cellar is about 350 years old and is situated in the oldest part of town Hustopece in the cellar alley „In the citywalls” people called „Turhandle ”…
